Visit the Glasshouse Mountains, take an excursion to Fraser Island, fossick for precious gold at Gympie or just relax on the beach and shopping at the resort town of Noosa.
Fraser Island
Separated from the mainland by a narrow channel, Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. Fraser Island is World heritage listed and almost the entire island is a protected National Park. Accommodation ranges from motel units to houses and flats. On the mainland, the city of Maryborough and township of Hervey Bay provide both a stepping off point to Fraser Island and are worthwhile destinations in their own right.
Maroochydore
(Maroochy to the locals) is just north of Brisbane, Australia. It is in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, and has numerous attractions, beaches, rivers, and rainforests.
Mooloolaba
Mooloolaba stretches from the Sunshine Coast to Point Cartwright and provides excellent shopping, exquisite restaurants and cafes. The magnificent beaches are great for fishing, surfing, and yachting. There are 30 kilometers of beaches from Bribie Island to Kawana Waters.
Noosa, Noosa Heads, Noosa Beach
Noosa is a haven for visitors and includes the popular Noosa Heads and Noosa Beach. It is well known for its trendy restaurants and cafe scene. Visit the exclusive boutiques for an exciting shopping outing. Most accommodation offers spectacular views over Noosa and its waterways, and blends charmingly into the hillside.
Peregian Beach
A casual drive south from Noosa along the coastal David Low Way offering breathtaking ocean and beach views. The exclusive Castaways and Marcus beaches are located right in the middle of this 18 kilometre stretch of beach.

Eumundi Markets

Underwater World
